The reigning world water polo champions Serbia won the FINA World Cup after defeating Croatia 13-7 (4-0, 2-3, 5-3, 2-1).
Scorers for Serbia were Gocic (3), Udovicic (3), Filipovic (3), Mitrovic (2), D. Pijetlovic (1) and Nikic (1).
Sukno (3), Buslje (2), Karac (1) and Barac (1) scored for Croatia.
In the third place match, Spain defeated USA 12-8.
