Jankovic wins Indian Wells title

Jelena Jankovic of Serbia defeated Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark in the final on Sunday 6-2, 6-4, raising her career total to 12 WTA Tour titles, her first in Indian Wells.

It was Jankovic's first title in seven months.

Serbia's Nenad Zimonjic and Canadian partner Daniel Nestor failed in their bid for a third doubles title of the season, losing 6-7 (8), 3-6 to Spaniard Rafael Nadal and his countryman Marc Lopez in the final of the Indian Wells Masters.
