A:

Belgrade to host volleyball World League final tournament

Lausanne, 3 November 2004

Serbia and Montenegro will play in Pool C, along with Argentina, Poland, Greece, at the 2005 volleyball men's World League. Final Four tournament will be held in Belgrade from July 8 to 10, 2004.

Pools Pool A: Brazil, Japan, Portugal, Venezuela Pool B: Italy, Cuba, Bulgaria, Spain Pool C: Serbia-Montenegro, Argentina, Poland, Greece.

All teams in the pool play against each other, both home and away, during the Intercontinental round. Top three teams from each group and the best second ranked team advance to the Final Four tournament. In case that the team of the organizing country, Serbia and Montenegro, is not among the four qualified teams, the best second ranked team of the Intercontinental round will be eliminated and replaced by the organizer.
