Mrakic told the Tanjug news agency that the two countries agreed on the contents of all three documents, adding that the original price of €400 million in the sales contract for the Serbian oil industry NIS has not been altered. The South Stream gas pipe line is to be completed by the end of 2015, he noted.
The State Secretary confirmed that the agreement will be signed in Moscow, in the presence of the Serbian and Russian Presidents, Boris Tadic and Dmitri Medvedev. He also added that a single document will then be signed, which will envelop all three documents.
He noted that the harmonisation of the document is underway and explained that a joint statement from the two presidents will be issued.
Mrakic said that Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric will probably be authorised to sign the NIS sale contract, while Srbijagas General Manager Dusan Bajatovic will be authorised to sign the agreement on the construction of the gas storage facility in Banatski Dvor and the South Stream gas pipe line.
The negotiations were held in a constructive atmosphere, which was mainly due to the head of our negotiating team Borko Stefanovic.
Mrakic also said a memorandum will be signed for Banatski Dvor, whereas for the South Stream pipe line there will be an agreement on the basic principles of the future contract.
