Cvetkovic said that the Bill on confirming a contract on loan from the Council of Europe's Development Bank refers to a €10 million loan for reconstruction and rehabilitation of land damaged by landslides.
The total value of the project is RSD 12.5 million, of which 10 million will be secured through the loan and RSD 2.5 million from the Serbian budget.
The repayment period of this loan is 10 years, with a five-year grace period, while the interest is variable and will differ from tranche to tranche. This contract was signed last year.
The second bill refers to the agreement signed on February 7, 2006 between the Council of Ministers of Serbia-Montenegro and the Government of India, where Serbia as a successor took over liabilities from this agreement.
With this agreement, Serbia and India express readiness to expand economic and commercial cooperation, approve the treatment of the most privileged nation and free transit of goods.
On February 8, 2006 another agreement was signed between the Council of Ministers of Serbia-Montenegro and the Government of India, which Serbian parliament should approve. It deals with elimination of double taxation, tax burdens, creation of legal security in doing business and investing the capital of one country to another one.
The agreement between the governments of Serbia and Poland was signed on May 15, 2007 and is a legal framework for exchange of information between the two countries, mutual assistance in prevention of customs, foreign currency and trade offences, and coordination in prevention of smuggling and exchange of experts and staff, Cvetkovic said.
The Bill on confirming the agreement signed between the governments of Serbia and Slovenia refers first of all to mutual assistance in the field of customs, but it is almost identical with the agreement signed with Poland.
This agreement was signed on June 1, 2007, Cvetkovic said and called on parliament members to vote for this agreements so that they could be put to practice as soon as possible.
