The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic advanced to the 4th round at the US Open by beating Argentine Juan Martin del Potro 3:0 (6:1, 6:3, 6:4 in sets). Jelena Jankovic also made it to the 4th round thanks to her victory over Austrian Sybil Bammer by 2:1 (6:4, 4:6, 6:1 in sets).
