Vojvodina defeated by Atletico Madrid

Novi Sad, 31 August 2007

Vojvodina lost yesterday in Novi Sad to Atletico Madrid 1-2 (1-0), in the return match of the second qualifying round for the UEFA Cup.

Atletico has now entred the first round of the UEFA Cup with an all over victory of 5-1, since it won the first match in Madrid 3-0.

Vojvodina was in lead during the first half but after just ten minutes of play in the second half, Atletico levelled the score and in the 74th minute Raul Garcia scored the second goal securing the final result of 2-1.
