Serbia's Novak Djokovic was forced to retire injured in the Wimbledon semifinal match against Rafael Nadal of Spain.

When second seed Nadal moved 3-6 6-1 4-1 in front, fourth seed Djokovic, who had been on court for nine hours over the previous two days, pulled out with a toe problem.
In the final, Nadal will meet four-time defending champion Roger Federer who beat Richard Gasquet 7-5, 6-3, 6-4 in the semifinals.
