Jelena Jankovic defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova 7-5, 6-1 Sunday to win the Italian Open in Rome.

The Serbian moved to fourth in the rankings released by the women's governing body WTA on Monday.
Rome winner is just 295 points behind Kuznetsova, who occupies third place.
Jankovic also won at Auckland, New Zealand, to open her season in January and took a clay-court title in Charleston, S.C., last month.
