Serbian side was defeated 0-1 in the UEFA Cup first round second leg match in Groningen, but still progressed courtesy of their 4-2 home victory a fortnight ago.
Red Star Belgrade didn't come back from a first-leg deficit to beat Liberec. The Czech champions added a 2-1 away win to their 2-0 home victory to earn a place in the group stages.
