According to the decree, the amount of the special fee for this year remains unchanged compared to 2025, and the decision on the matter was made based on the assessment of the guaranteed supplier that this amount is sufficient to ensure the necessary financial resources to meet all obligations of the guaranteed supplier in 2026.
The fee provides financial resources from which Belgrade-based joint stock company Elektroprivreda Srbije, as the guaranteed supplier, pays incentives to privileged and temporarily privileged producers, as well as costs related to the payment of incentives.
The government members also adopted the Decree on the measures and criteria for the allocation of incentive funds for the conservation and protection of biological, landscape and geological diversity in 2026, which allocates RSD 300 million for local government projects related to the care of natural treasures.
The funds are intended for the construction of water supply and sewerage networks, road infrastructure, wastewater treatment plants, biodiversity conservation facilities, visitor centres, hiking and other trails, resorts, for the development of speleological facilities, establishing a network of local associations, organising events and more.
