Prime Minister Professor Đuro Macut, MD, DSc, stated today that Serbia is a regional leader in the growth and development of ICT services, noting that the latest data shows that in January-September this year, exports of these services amounted to €3.333 billion, which is an increase of 12% compared to the same period last year.

Macut emphasised that we should be proud of these results, adding that the surplus in the sector amounts to €2.624 billion, and that Serbia also has excellent results when it comes to the number of employees in this sector.
In the third quarter of this year, 115,933 citizens worked in the sector, which is 3,678 or 3.3% more compared to the same quarter of the previous year, the Prime Minister wrote on Instagram.
The ICT sector has long been the most successful sector in terms of growth rates, he recalled, adding that this is a major incentive, but also an obligation, to continue its development and move further towards achieving even better results.
