Angelina Topić won the gold medal in the high jump event at the European Athletics U23 Championships, the silver medal at the European Athletics Indoor Championships, and the bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in 2025.
Adriana Vilagoš triumphed in the javelin throw event at the Diamond League meeting in Lausanne, took second place at the Diamond League meetings in Rabat and Oslo, as well as in the final of this competition held in Zurich. She won the gold medal at the European Athletics U23 Championships.
Zorana Arunović earned a silver medal in the individual competition and a bronze medal as part of a pair with Damir Mikec at the European Shooting 10 m Events Championships in Osijek.
The young shooting pair, debutants in senior competitions, Aleksandra Havran and Aleksa Rakonjac, captured a silver medal at the same competition. Havran took another medal – a bronze in the individual competition.
Marko Ivanović secured two senior bronze medals at the European Shooting Championships in Châteauroux – in the individual competition and as a member of the team together with Milenko Sebić and Lazar Kovačević.
Strahinja Dragosavljević, 18, became the youngest European champion in the history of senior kayaking by winning the gold medal in Račice at the Canoe Sprint European Championships. Milica Novaković claimed two bronze medals at the same competition.
Martin Mačković and Nikolay Pimenov won a silver medal in the men’s double sculls at the World Rowing Championships in Shanghai. The same pair reached first place at the World Cup in Lucerne.
Aleksandr Komarov became the world champion in Greco-Roman style. The same wrestler earned a bronze medal at the European Championships, while freestyle wrestler Azamat Tuskaev and Greco-Roman wrestler Georgii Tibilov won silver in the same competition.
Weightlifter Radmila Zagorac captured two bronze medals, in the clean & jerk and in the all-around, at the European Weightlifting Championships in Chisinau.
Andrea Stojadinov and Aleksandra Andrić earned bronze medals at the European Judo Championships in Podgorica.
The men’s national 3x3 basketball team, consisting of Strahinja Stojačić, Dejan Majstorović, Marko Branković and Nemanja Barać, took third place at the World Championships.
Andrea Bokan and Stefan Takov won gold medals, while Anđela Šević claimed bronze at the European Taekwondo Championships.
