Junior water polo team confirms its domination of Europe

Oradea, 29 July 2006

Serbia-Montenegro's junior water polo team defeated Hungary 12-11 (4-3, 5-4, 1-3, 2-1) to win their fifth consecutive European champion's title.

On their road to the gold medal they defeated Great Britain (20-1), Slovakia (14-13), Slovenia (19-3), France (18-1), Spain (16-13) and Hungary two times (12-11 in the quarterfinals, and 12-11 in the first place match).
