The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the first meeting of the Committee of National Coordinators of the Central European Initiative (CEI) under the Serbian Presidency of the regional initiative was held in Belgrade today.
Addressing the gathering, State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nikola Stojanović reiterated Serbia’s commitment to regional cooperation and the European integration process.
Stojanović singled out artificial intelligence, biotechnology, regional connectivity and labour migration as the most important priorities of the Serbian Presidency of the oldest regional initiative in Southeast Europe.
Today’s meeting brought together representatives of all member countries of the Central European Initiative.
In November last year, Serbia took over the presidency of the international organisation, which encourages regional cooperation in economics, politics, culture and youth exchange.
