Vidic was hurt in training yesterday and national team spokesman Aleksandar Boskovic confirmed today the centre-half will not be available for the remainder of the Serbo-Montenegrins’ matches in Germany.
Vidic also missed Serbia and Montenegro’s Group C opener against the Netherlands, which the Dutch won 1-0, through suspension after being red-carded in the final game of qualifying against Bosnia-Herzegovina.
