Zemun became the seventh and final team to be relegated after a 1-1 home draw with Borac on the final day of the Serbia-Montenegro's Football Championship.

Obilic, Jedinstvo, Buducnost Podgorica, Rad, Javor and Smederevo had already been relegated.

Red Star secured Champions' league qualification. Partizan, OFK Beograd and Hajduk ensured a berth in next season's UEFA Cup second qualifying round, while third-placed Vozdovac failed to obtain a licence for international matches.

Partizan's striker Srdjan Radonjic finished as the league's top scorer with 20 goals.
