Global Steel Holdings Ltd plans long term investment in Serbia

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met today with a delegation of Global Steel Holdings Ltd, led by Managing Director Pramod Mittal.
Kostunica said that he is pleased that this international company of high repute is interested in investing into Serbian economy. He added that it is significant that the company has already entered the Balkans, considering the fact that the Serbian market is the largest in the region.
Mittal stressed that his company is planning long-term investment in Serbia, in the fields of metal industry, mining, energy and agriculture. He added that the company is interested in participating in the privatisation process with the aim to bringing new technologies to Serbia, respecting the industrial tradition of the country.
Mittal said that his company, as one of the largest investors in steel industry in the world, considers Serbia a valuable investment target with excellent conditions for business and further development.
