Popović, who is also the president of the Serbian part of this committee, pointed out that strong partnership relations remain between Serbia and Russia, as well as business contacts in the fields of energy, transport and infrastructure.
The two ministers also discussed preparations for the extended meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee, which will be held in Russia by the end of this year.
Also, it was agreed to hold the 20th anniversary meeting of the Committee, with the participation of representatives of the economy and relevant departments of the two countries, which will enable the definition of long-term plans and tasks of the Committee and record agreements related to solving practical issues of Serbian and Russian companies.
