At today's session, the government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Conclusion amending the conclusions on calculation and payment of salaries, starting with the salary for September 2023, which increases this base by 5.5% to employees in several areas, sectors and institutions.

Decree on limiting price of basic foodstuffs adopted

This salary increase in the field of education will be given to employees in pre-school, primary and secondary education, pupil standard and student standard.
From September, employees in health and social care will also receive increased salaries: nurses and technicians in health and other institutions – Sports Institute, institutions for the execution of criminal sanctions, then caregivers and nurses in social care.
This conclusion was made in order to implement the provisions of the recently adopted Law amending the 2023 Budget Law.
Members of the government adopted the Decree on limiting the price of basic foodstuffs, which will reduce the price of flour after the drop in the price of wheat on the market.
Reduced prices refer to flour types T-400 and T-500, in packages of one kilogram.
