The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications today sent the Draft Law on Public Information and Media and the Draft Law on Electronic Media for public discussion, which will last until 7 October.

The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications today sent the Draft Law on Public Information and Media and the Draft Law on Electronic Media for public discussion, which will last until 7 October.
The statement of this ministry says that the proposed draft laws aim to improve the public information system and create conditions for better regulation of the electronic media market.
Journalistic and media associations, as well as international partners - the Delegation of the European Union to Serbia, OSCE Mission, Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation made a great contribution in the drafting of media laws, in addition to public administration representatives.
The public discussion will be organised in the form of presentations and discussions on draft laws through round tables, which will be held in Belgrade on 13 September, Nis on 20 September, Novi Sad on 27 September and Kragujevac on 4 October.
