Red Star have an unassailable eight-point lead at the top with one match to go after city rivals and outgoing champions Partizan suffered a 1-0 defeat at relegation-threatened Buducnost Banatski Dvor.
Midfielder Marko Perovic fired Red Star ahead in the 11th minute with a spectacular 30-metre drive that gave Vojvodina's keeper Sasa Todic no chance.
Full back Dragan Sarac doubled the advantage in the 62nd minute when he blasted home a perfect Bojan Djordjic cross at the far post and the league's top scorer Nikola Zigic headed in the third two minutes from time.
The title was Red Star's first as Serbia and Montenegro champions. Their previous wins came in the Yugoslav league, before an official change of name last year.
