After defeat by Iceland in their opening match yesterday, Serbia and Montenegro managed to reach main round with today's win.

Best scorers for Serbia-Montenegro were Zikica Milosavljevic (8), Dragan Sudzum (6) and Momir Ilic (6). Gergo Ivancsik scored 6 goals for Hungary.
