Defending champion Serbia-Montenegro will face Nigeria in its first game of the basketball world championships.

Sunday's draw in Tokyo also put Athens Olympic gold medalists Argentina, Venezuela, France and Lebanon in Group A, along with the two countries. They will play all first-round games in Sendai.
The top four finishers from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
The 24-team 2006 FIBA Men's World Championship will be held August 19 - September 3 in Japan.
