Prime Minister Ana Brnabic talked today with Iraqi Minister of Foreign Affairs Fuad Hussein, who leads that country’s delegation at the high-level meeting dedicated to marking the 60th anniversary of the Non-Aligned Movement.
During the talks it was emphasised that the relations between the two countries are good and friendly and that this high-level meeting is an opportunity to speak about further improvement of cooperation in various fields.
The Prime Minister expressed gratitude on the principled position of Iraq concerning Kosovo and Metohija and the respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Serbia.
Brnabic and Hussein highlighted the importance of improving economic cooperation, and the Prime Minister of Serbia pointed to the results Serbia achieved in the IT sector.
Hussein stated that Serbian companies are welcome in Iraq, especially in the sector od civil engineering, health care and education, and noted that Serbia set an excellent example by building three new covid hospitals in a very short time.
