Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Tomislav Momirovic and Director of the "Corridors of Serbia" Aleksandar Antic signed today a commercial contract for the design and construction of a section of the highway from the Pozarevac loop to Golubac.

The agreement with the representatives of the Chinese company "Shandong Hi-Speed Group" was signed in the building of the Presidency, in the presence of President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Serbia Chen Bo.
On that occasion, Vucic specified that the value of the works is €337 million, and that the works will be completed in November 2024, emphasising that in three years we will go from Belgrade to Gradiste in an hour, and to Golubac in an hour and 15 minutes.
He expressed gratitude to Chinese partners, the country's ambassador to Serbia, Chen Bo, as well as Chinese President Xi Jinping, for their support so far.
The Ambassador assessed that the signing of the mentioned agreement is a new important result of the cooperation between the two countries in the field of infrastructure.
