At the order of President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin agreed with Greek Minister of Citizen Protection Michalis Chrisochoidis that Serbia sends help to its colleagues and citizens in Greece over huge fires, by sending members and vehicles of the Helicopter Unit and the Sector for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of the Interior.

During the day, the Ministry of the Interior will send 37 members of the Sector for Emergency Situations with 13 fire trucks.
Tomorrow, 14 members of the Helicopter Unit with three helicopters, of which two are Bell 212 and one Х-145, will take part in the operation of extinguishing fire from the air.
According to the latest information, several dozen of fire forests are active in Greece, six of which are serious and are on the islands of Rhodes, Kos and Evia, in Messinia, eastern Mani (Peloponnese) and in Varimpompi (in the region of Attica), according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior.
