Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selakovic said today during the talks with Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Serbia Mubarak Aldhaheri that the bilateral relations of the two countries are very good.

Selakovic noted that in recent years they have reached a historic level of sincere friendship and successful cooperation, first and foremost thanks to the personal engagement of Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
He stated that Serbia is particularly interested in improving economic cooperation with the UAE in all areas of mutual interest, both through increase of foreign trade and through investment cooperation, taking into account the favourable conditions for investing in Serbia.
The Minister called on the Ambassador to use his influence and personal engagement to make businessmen from the UAE familiar with the investment opportunities in Serbia.
Selakovic gave special thanks to the UAE for the significant medical assistance they sent to Serbia three times to help it fight the COVID-19 pandemic, underlining that that is the greatest confirmation of exceptional friendship that exists between the two countries.
