Minister without portfolio in charge of innovation and technological development Nenad Popovic said today that 50,000 new doses of Sputnik V vaccine will be sent from Russia to Serbia on 21 February.
In a statement for the Tanjug news agency, Popovic said that he received confirmation for this in a conversation with Serbian partners from the Russian Fund for Direct Investments.
Russia did not leave us in the lurch, just as Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Yuri Borisov promised during his visit to Belgrade, the Minister pointed out.
Popovic added that he will leave for Moscow today already to continue the talks on the new deliveries of the vaccine and the start of production of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V in Serbia.
