Speaking at a coronavirus press briefing, Kon said that discipline is necessary if we want to calmly enter the period of opening of schools, that masks must be worn and hands must be washed regularly.
The situation is still uncertain, we see that people are still going for check-ups to COVID centres, but it is very clear that there are many more control check-ups and those who are discharged from hospitals, Kon explained.
He stated that the Serbian Public Health Institute "Dr Milan Jovanovic Batut" formed a special team to monitor the situation in schools and that the COVID-19 Crisis Response Team made a decision to allow the holding of concerts and the opening of movies and theatres as of Monday.
Visits to gerontology centres are also allowed, they will be made in the open air and will last around 15 minutes, Kon said and pointed out that the visits protocol must be respected.
He added that night clubs still cannot start working as the prohibition of gatherings of more than ten people is still in force and that the decisions made today refer only to institutions of culture.
Epidemiologist Branislav Tiodorovic stated that we must bear in mind that people are returning from holidays that they have spent in the country and abroad.
He urged all those returning from holidays to go to COVID centres if they feel any symptoms so that the overall epidemiological situation could be controlled, that is, to reduce the number of infections to 25 per 100,000 inhabitants, Tiodorovic said.
