Prime Minister Ana Brnabic toured today the reconstructed “Hajduk Veljko” elementary school in Zajecar and attended a presentation of eEnrolment and Bee Bot robot in the “Ljubica Radosavljevic Nada” elementary school.
On this occasion, she stated that the most important thing is to provide the best possible conditions for work to pupils in elementary schools, especially to first graders.
After the visit to the reconstructed school, in which over €2 million were invested for a total renovation, Brnabic said that she is pleased to be in this school again, which she visited while reconstruction was in course.
The school looks fabulous now. We did a good job and I am really pleased when we invest the money of Serbian citizens in a good deed, especially in education and educational institutions, the Prime Minister underlined.
She pointed out that during the mandate of the current Serbian government, 109 elementary schools in Serbia were reconstructed, while 38 schools are currently being reconstructed.
The introduction of digital classrooms also started.
The Prime Minister announced that as of 1 September some novelties will be introduced in education, and that the subject Digital World will be introduced for first graders.
Throughout the entire mandate of this government, and through electronic administration, we tried to do only one thing and that is to bring public administration in order, that citizens no longer be couriers, but that the state be at their service and that all that we do has some order and meaning and that we continue to build the state and public administration on these foundations, Brnabic stated.
