Serbia and Montenegro, reigning European and world champions, defeated Hungary 16-6 (4-2, 6-0, 3-2, 3-2) to win the FINA Men's Water Polo World League finals that finished in Belgrade on Sunday.

In the third place match, Germany surprisingly beat Croatia 10-8, while the Russian national team lost 9-14 to Greece in the fifth place match.
