First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic met today with Secretary-General of the UN Office in Geneva (UNOG) Tatiana Valovaya, who as the Special Envoy of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is on a visit to Belgrade on the occasion of the 141st session of the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union.

Dacic underlined that Serbia attaches particular importance to the activities of the United Nations, adding that we are committed to the priority areas of this world organisation and to continuing our excellent cooperation.
According to him, cooperation with the United Nations is also important for Serbia in the context of protecting our sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Valovaya expressed her gratitude to Serbia for its support and continued engagement in promoting cooperation with the UN.
