Before more than 18,000 spectators at "Belgrade Arena" Hall of Sports in Belgrade, Brazil dropped first set, but then reigning Olympic and world champions got into a groove and easily won the match to capture third World League title in a row.
In the 3rd place match, Cuba defeated Poland 3-2 (25-23, 22-25, 24-26, 25-18,15-13).
