The government adopted the Programme for the empowerment of women in the field of information and communication technologies for the period 2019-2020.
The adopted programme creates the conditions for equal participation of women in the IT sector and for reducing the gender gap in the digital sector, as well as the more uniform regional representation of women in this field.
Considering the fact that in the IT sector there is room for 50 to 100 thousand new jobs by 2020, the government provided RSD 25.5 million for 2019 and RSD 22 million for 2020 for training, education and retraining of women in this area.
This programme will include students, students, women who are interested in retraining and members of the older generation, who will be encouraged to use IT technology.
