Lothar Matthaus
Matthaus, 43, insists Partizan have denied him 469,500 euros in wages and as part of a deal he struck with the Serbia and Montengero club over transfer rights.
The Hungarian coach informed German magazine SportBild that the six-figure amount was from his unpaid salary at Belgrade and as part of the impending 3.3 million euro transfer of Igor Duljaj from Partizan to Shaktar Donetzk.
Matthaus' agency 'Sporthouse' reportedly owns 15 percent of Duljaj's transfer rights.
German icon Matthaus, who has won a record 150 caps for his country, guided Partizan into the Champions League this season before quitting and taking over as Hungarian boss at the turn of the year.
It is not the first time Matthaus has been involved in a monetary dispute with a former employer.
At the start of the season Bayern Munich had to pay the 1990 World Cup winner an additional 7500 euros after Matthaus complained he was shortchanged in his testimonial match in May 2000.
Matthaus was said to have netted close to two million euros for the match.
