Sinisa Mali takes over duty of finance minister

Newly-appointed Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali took over the duty today from Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, who has been Acting Finance Minister since 16 May.
After taking an oath at the Serbian parliament, Sinisa Mali took over the duty in accordance with the law and procedures, in the presence of a notary public.
The Prime Minister handed over to Sinisa Mali a Report on the state of affairs at the Ministry and informed him about the organisation at the Ministry, the goals set and future obligations.
Sinisa Mali stated upon taking office that he will continue work on economic reforms and preserving fiscal discipline and underlined that he will work actively on accelerating economic growth and improving business environment in Serbia.
He added that he is proud to be a member of Ana Brnabic’s team.
