Vucic, government members pay tribute to Zoran Djindjic

Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and ministers of the Serbian government paid tribute today and laid a wreath at the memorial plaque in the courtyard of the Serbian government, at the spot in which the then prime minister of Serbia Zoran Djindjic was killed 12 years ago.

The ceremony was also attended by First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic, as well as by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Kori Udovicki.

Other ministers who paid tribute to prime minister Djindjic are Minister of the Interior Nebojsa Stefanovic, Minister of Defence Bratislav Gasic, Minister of Labour, Employment, Social and Veteran Affair Aleksandar Vulin, Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Srdjan Verbic and Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic.

The wreath-laying ceremony was also attended by Minister of Economy Zeljko Sertic, Minister of Agriculture and Environmental Protection Snezana Bogosavljevic-Boskovic, Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar, Minister of Culture and the Media Ivan Tasovac and Minister without Portfolio responsible for Emergency Situations Velimir Ilic.

The anniversary of the death of prime minister of Serbia and leader of the Democratic Party Zoran Djindjic, who was assassinated in 2003, will be marked today with a series of events.
