Vucic thanked Stubb on the support he is giving to our country on the path towards the EU, which is a strategic goal of Serbia.
We would like to be like Finland, and to get good results through hard work, the Prime Minister said.
The two prime ministers also discussed bilateral cooperation, economic exchange that is on the rise, as well as the plan for bringing a larger number of Finnish investors in Serbia.
Stubb stressed that Serbia is a very important country in the Western Balkans, due to the accession process and the chairmanship of the OSCE, but also because of good relations it has with other countries.
Asked by reporters whether Finland supports the opening of the negotiating chapters, he said that it cannot influence these processes, but that it supports the enlargement process and that it expects that the chapters will be opened as soon as possible.
Vucic underlined that Serbia must first complete all its obligations, and expressed the hope that the chapters will be opened soon, noting that our country does not do all that because of the chapters, but for its own sake and a better future.
