Government does not have contract with lobbying agencies

The Serbian government strongly condemns the allegations of Democratic Party that the government pays €250,000 to the agency Bell Pottinger for lobbying and building image for any of the officials of the current government.

The Serbian government does not have any kind of contract with the agency Bell Pottinger, nor did it pay any funds to this agency.
In addition, the Serbian government has no valid contract with any of the lobbyist or PR agencies, nor with individuals.
The only contract which the Serbian government signed is a contract with the consulting company Advanced Practical Solutions LLC from Chicago, during the tenure of Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic.
The contract with this consulting firm was signed on 30 April 2009, for the purpose of lobbying in the United States, for which a monthly fee in the amount of €85,000 was paid.
The Serbian government concludes that the Democratic Party has grossly deceived the public by making false statements in today’s press release.
In addition, the Serbian government has no valid contract with any of the lobbyist or PR agencies, nor with individuals.
