Relations with China in field of culture at highest level

Minister of Culture and Media Ivan Tasovac and Chinese Minister of Culture Luo Shugang expressed great satisfaction today over the fact that bilateral relations between the two ministries have never been better and over a high level of mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of culture.
At the meeting of the ministers and their closest associates, held at the Ministry of Culture and Media, it was agreed to increase the scope of cultural exchange at all levels and to further strengthen the ties of institutions, organisations and professionals from the world of culture and creative industries.
The result of good cooperation, as outlined in the interview, is the first Forum on cultural and creative industries in Central and Eastern Europe and China, which was recently held in Belgrade with great success, and jointly organised by the ministries of culture of Serbia and China and with the participation of about 100 experts in all areas of cultural creativity.
The initiative for holding the forum was launched during the meeting of the two ministers at a conference in Sofia in November 2015, reads in a statement by the Ministry of Culture and Media.
