Serbian flag raised at London Olympic Village

At the Olympic Village in London the Serbian flag was raised last night to the sounds of the Serbian national anthem.

The flag was raised by tennis player Novak Djokovic, and the traditional ceremony was attended by President of the Serbian Olympic Committee Vlade Divac, Secretary General Djordje Visacki, members of the Serbian delegation and the major part of our national Olympic team, as well as Serbian Ambassador to Great Britain Dejan Popovic.
A total of 85 Serbian athletes are currently in London, while the others will be arriving over the next several days.
The official opening ceremony will be held on 27 July.
