Rupel described the ethnic Albanian destruction of Serbian Orthodox churches and monasteries as an unacceptable act of barbarity, the statement said.
The Slovenian Minister went on to say that a continuing dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and a strong economic development of the Balkans could be one of the possible solutions to the problems in the province.
Covic agreed with Rupel but stressed that economic growth and dialogue cannot be achieved in a territory ruled by hatred, terrorism and ethnic cleansing, the statement said.
