More than 30 people killed, 500 wounded in Kosovo clashes

Ethnic violence of Albanian extremists that erupted in Kosovo-Metohija on Wednesday has left at least 31 people dead and more than 500 wounded.
UNMIK Spokesman Izabela Karlovic said that 61 policemen of UNMIK and Kosovo Police Force have been wounded, as well as 35 KFOR soldiers.
UNMIK and KFOR have evacuated several hundreds of Serbs from various parts of the province, whose houses, monasteries and churches have been set ablaze by Albanian extremists.
Commander of NATO's southern forces Gregory Johnson said during his yesterday's visit to Pristina that violence which spread to all Serb enclaves is deliberate and organised.
