The Los Angeles Clippers today signed free agent center Zeljko Rebraca. Serbia-Montenegro's Rebraca, entering his fourth NBA season, has career averages of 6.3 points and 3.4 rebounds per game. He has shot 50.8% from the floor and 77.5% from the free throw line during his NBA career.
Rebraca joins the Clippers after beginning his NBA career with the Detroit, where he played for two plus seasons before being traded on February 19, 2004 to Atlanta in a package for Rasheed Wallace.
Rebraca played professionally in Europe for 11 years prior to joining the Pistons, and was named the 1999 Most Valuable Player of Euroleague.
He won a silver medal at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta and gold medal at the World championship in Athens, playing on team Yugoslavia.
