International cooperation and police organisation are among the government's priorities, said Jocic, adding that regulations in the field must be brought up to European standards and police personnel trained to enforce the regulations in line with European Union norms.
Grunnet informed the Minister on the Council of Europe's activities in Serbia and its Belgrade office's contribution to Serbia's police reform so far.
The two officials agreed that Council of Europe experts should take a more active role in the drawing up of Serbia's new police law.
