The New Jersey Nets have signed 7-foot center/forward Nenad Krstic of Serbia-Montenegro to a three-year contract.

The move comes two years after they made him their number-one pick in the 2002 draft.
Krstic was the 24th pick two years ago. He averaged almost 19 points and about 6.5 rebounds last year with Partizan Belgrade.
He is expected to start for the Serbia-Montenegro team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.
