Goran Vujevic spikes over Italian block

Italian team just wasn't able to put up a block. In spite of many service mistakes of both teams, joint forces of the hosts helped them gain point after point, in spite of fantastic serves of Sartoretti. And again it was the high concentration on each ball and a strong block that helped them win the first set.
In the 2nd set, however, the Italian team found a way to put up a block, but some very attractive points lead to lack of concentration of the guests. Rally after rally, public cheered their "blue" team into the victory.
No block and no reception of the Italian team could pass, and even Sartoretti's service was easy defended. It just seemed that the ball was in favor of the Serbia-Montenegro's team, however it fell. Every hole that existed in the defense of the Italian team was found and used.
Lack of spirit and concentration stopped Italian team from showing their true quality. Nervousness contributed to ever more problems in their team, with block never being high enough nor the attacker high enough for Miljkovic. Not Papi nor Fei, nor Sartoretti could stop the points from rising. Vermiglio did find a way to add to their points, but in no time it was 23-16. With two spectacular points, helped by the standing hall, the team of Serbia and Montenegro finished the last match in the Intercontinental Round with maximum result 3-0.
