Members of Serbian parliament elected this evening the new Serbian government with Vojislav Kostunica in the office of the prime minister, with 133 votes in favour.

Of the 244 MPs present 106 were against, three abstained, and two did not vote.
Earlier Serbian Prime Minister Designate Vojislav Kostunica, in his
keynote address in Serbian parliament, presented the fundaments of the programme of the new government, which will have a total of 22 ministers.
The Prime Minister and members of the Serbian government then took oath of office.
Five MPs who were candidates for the position of ministers in the new government submitted their resignations as members of parliament this evening.
Resignations were submitted by Bozidar Djelic, Dragan Sutanovac, Dusan Petrovic and Milan Markovic from the Democratic Party and Mladjan Dinkic from G17 Plus.
