Đurić briefed his interlocutor on the latest actions and decisions taken by the authorities in Priština, emphasising that Serbia is monitoring developments on the ground with serious concern.
He recalled the recent politically-motivated arrests of Serbs and pointed out that, since the beginning of the dialogue, Priština has demonstrated a lack of constructiveness and an unwillingness to listen to the other side, while continuously generating tensions and incidents that further jeopardise the safety of the population.
Speaking about the status of the Serbian people and other non-majority communities, the Minister reiterated Serbia’s expectation that the international community take all necessary steps to ensure their full safety and the respect of their fundamental rights.
